Description:
Inspired by the history of coffee in Vietnam during the French colonies in Southeast Asia in the 1880s with the French and their passion for ‘café ’ (‘cà phê’ in Vietnamese) and it is intrinsically linked to the spread of coffee across the world.
History of coffee in Vietnam really starts from here, was first introduced to by the French Colonists from Bourbon (La Reunion) but production remained small. Over the years, Vietnam now has grown to be one of the largest coffee producers all over the world.
The creation is a collaboration of the Winnipeg-based Western farmer's son (more info here) and Eastern farmer's son, which is us. Colonial Coffee scented-candle is clean-burning, triple-scented, and deliciously fragrant with a hint of sugar canes (found around our farms)—evoking the smell of tropically grown coffee beans in the wintertime. We want to create something unique to connect people to the origin. Each candle reflects the incredible qualities every farmer has no matter where they from to build a brighter future for their families in peace.
