Robusta - Good for blending and often used as a low-cost alternative to arabica coffees or a nice addition to espresso for crema purposes.
This high-quality Robusta from the Highlands of Vietnam is a really great coffee, drunk on its own it has a dark sweet licorice taste or is the power kicker to add to any darker roast for a caffeine high and a creamy finish.
In a cup: It has a spiciness mixed with floral notes and a light acidity. A light roast leaves the natural mixture of this coffee bean's flavors more detectable while roasting it to a medium or dark roast can bring out chocolate or caramel notes.
